ChildrenSpeak is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) app designed to help children with autism and other communication needs express themselves. The app features visual word cards, audio feedback, and sentence building capabilities.

Does the app require an internet connection?
No! ChildrenSpeak works completely offline. All audio and images are included in the app.
How do I change the voice?
Tap the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right corner. You can switch between male and female voices. Your preference is saved automatically.
How do I build a sentence?
Tap any word card to add it to the sentence area at the top. You can add multiple words, then tap "Speak" to hear the entire sentence. Tap any word in the sentence to remove it, or "Clear" to start over.
What age is this app designed for?
ChildrenSpeak is designed for children of all ages who benefit from AAC support. The large buttons and simple interface make it accessible for young children and those with motor difficulties.
Can I add custom words?
Custom words are not yet available but are planned for a future update. The current version includes 50+ essential words across categories like actions, emotions, people, and food.
